will provide you with unlimited calls to any other UK landline or Vonage users. Calls to
mobiles are also very reasonable on this plan, just 12p a minute to any provider, and
limited international calls are offered at competitive rates at between 1p and 10p per
minute. If you do make a lot of international calls to a number of different countries then it
is worth subscribing to the top end package at £18.99 per month, as this not only offers you
unlimited calls to UK landlines and other Vonage users, but also to 45 other countries as
well (with mobiles remaining at 12 p per min).
How does it Work?
Online telephoning is very simple and you can use your old telephone equipment to make
and receive calls in the same way you did before, and you do not have to have your
computer switched on to use this service, as it is all carried out through your broadband
router. Vonage will send you the necessary adapter for free which will connect your old
telephone to your router so that you are able to use the Internet line to make calls. If you
do not have a router, then you will need to purchase the Vonage V-Portal VoIP adaptor,
which is an adaptor and router combined to enable you to make online calls.

• Voicemail – this service allows callers to leave messages for you,
and with Vonage you can check your messages using your phone or by logging into your
